About RideShare:
RideShare is also called carpool. In carpool, two or more people travel together in one vehicle.
The persons traveling together can be co-workers, friends, neighbors, friends, family members, roommates, or someone you find
through our rideshare system. Collectively, the carpool participants make up the rules.
Possible carpool ways:
- One person driving, passengers split the gas and toll fees.
- Participants share driving, everyone share the cost.
- All participants meet in one agreed place.
- Driver picks up the participants.
RideShare Etiquette:
To make your travel easy and pleasant, here are some etiquette:
- Be there on time, call ahead if you expect to be late.
- Notice your carpool friend one week ahead about your vacation and time off.
- Discuss and agree on terms, such as cost sharing, driving, smoking, eating, drinking, radio use and temperature
- Keep your vehicle safe, clean and neat.
- Fill your vehicle with enough gas for the trip.
- Discuss your allergs with your carpool friend.
